Jon Faville | Builder

I’m a builder and tradesman with over two decades of construction experience to apply to your project.  I grew-up working in the trades progressing from drywall to fine finish carpentry. In that time, I developed a wealth of knowledge about materials, methods, problem solving and people.

Over a decade ago, I became a licensed general contractor and started running my own construction business.  I had strong mentors and we built and remodeled several high end custom homes which have been published in Fine Home Building, Portraits of Portland and 1859 magazines.

I have a trim carpenter’s attention to detail and appreciation for quality.  But, I have developed a passion for being the builder!  I discovered that the process of trying to identify and meet my client’s needs is much more fulfilling than perfecting miters.  This human component of building is essential to the way I work.

Building is a team effort and success depends on the synergy of that team.  One of my greatest strengths is my ability to select the right subcontractors for each job.  I take care to manage the build process so that subcontractors can deliver their best value.  Throughout the process, I want you to feel like we all are a good fit – working together to meet your needs.

BreAnn Faville | Project Manager

I’m an industrious gal with a passion for work.  When I hear about an opportunity with real challenges and great potential I can’t wait to roll-up my sleeves and contribute.  Whether I’m helping from the office or on-site, I love goals, systems, organization and people.  When these all come together in a collaborative process, I’m in my element.

We will meet at the outset of your project and I’ll work with you to develop your plans, navigate the permit process, create your budget, build your team, make selections and construct your dream.

It matters to me that we’re engaged in meaningful work, completing each project well, adding value, and that we build relationships in the process.

Not every moment of your project will be a cake walk.  By the end, we should feel like we’re sharing a unique accomplishment.

Aaron Mello | Craftsman

Aaron adds depth to our team by contributing twenty-four years of experience in design, management, and fine craftsmanship. While starting his carpentry career, he studied art and design in college. He earned his General Contracting License in 2001 and has continued his education in historic architecture, green building, and has earned several product certifications.

Aaron has worked on the East and West coasts and spent twelve years in Colorado before joining Oregon Finish Carpentry, Inc. His experience and sensibility combines a broad spectrum of building and architectural styling. He is passionate about working with our team of contractors and artisans to provide the best results, and seeks daily to build beauty that is solid, functional, and will stand the test of time. One of his favorite words is “synergy” – achieved through the practice of building collaboratively with other craftsmen, designers, and clients, making living space flow inside and out.

Aaron is excited about his new residency in The Gorge. “The opportunity to refurbish historic homes, create new modern architecture, and build rustic cabins in the same area is inspiring – a custom builder’s dream.” On his off time, Aaron can be found on the rivers and in the mountains, and adventuring with his daughter.

Austin Robinson | Carpenter

Austin is an apprentice carpenter, aspiring to be a master craftsman.

Before joining our team, he earned a Certificate in Residential Carpentry from the North West College of Construction and worked in a variety of trades from concrete to roofing. He is enjoying the opportunity to work on unique projects with our friendly and knowledgeable crew.

Austin is a Northwest local, born and raised in Vancouver, Washington. In his spare time, he is an outdoor enthusiast, an avid snowboarder and spends time with family.

His ultimate goal is to build his own self-sustaining dream home.
